No, Floortime can be beneficial for children with a wide range of delays and disorders. It originally was created as a way to help caregivers engage with their children, regardless of diagnosis. We have used the approach on children with language delays, receptive expressive language disorder, social challenges, behavioral challenges, anxieties, ADHD, sensory challenges, feeding difficulties, and more. The wonderful thing about The Floortime Approach is that it is tailored to meet the specific needs of each child.

We determine the reason behind behaviors versus just extinguishing a behavior. Our behaviors are driven by our emotional system and children with ch behaviors are trying to communicate in a way that is purposeful for them. We support the child and family in finding the root cause of a behavior or set of behaviors and then determine based on the child’s developmental profile more functional ways to communicate.

Currently we are a private pay practice.

We accept cash and credit card payments through Square (USA) or bank transfer (UK) at this time.

You do not need a GP referral for speech and language, Floortime, or feeding services.
